A river stretching some 400km into a massive lake or sea in the northern polar region is imaged on Saturn’s largest moon Titan in September 2012 by the Cassini spacecraft on its 87th fly-by.

The river  is presumed to be a mix of liquid ethane and methane and it is the largest river system found on another body in the solar system other than on Earth…. to date.
